Project Description:

Our brief was to design a new 300m² dwelling on a narrow site. Due to the arid climate large roof overhangs were introduced to properly shade the northern facade. A monolithic cement block wall separates the public and private spaces. The L-shaped layout creates a private outdoor living space which can be combined with the living room and kitchen by means of bi-folding doors and becomes an oasis during the hot summer months.
